It lights up the Waikiki sky each Friday. Great, but brief, but free, fireworks thanks to the Hilton Hotel. Can be seen from nearly any beach vantage point, no need crowd.

We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and brought our children to see the fireworks. I wasn't expecting much because we visit Disney so much. However, I was pleasantly surprised. They were great for hotel fireworks. A few minutes long and a bit of variety. Our three year old daughter loved them! The beach gets busy, but you can arrive about 20 minutes early and get a good seat. It doesn't take much time to get back to your hotel room either.

It was as though it were a private show and was our favorite thing!!! We sat on the lanai with a glass of wine and talked and ate and at 7:45 the fireworks began and they were spectacular. It is quite a production and they are fired from a rock in the lagoon. Unreal -- colorful and wonderful beyond words!

We stayed at the Hale Koa and the first night we were there was a Friday - we did not know that they even did these fireworks. But when all the people started gathering on the beach and around the park in between the Hilton and Hale Koa we figured it out that something was about happen. We were able to enjoy the pretty big display in style and comfort from our front row table at the Barefoot Bar with Mai Tai in hand.

Simply Amazing!!

Beautiful, clean and huge! The best location in Waikiki, right on the beach and close to shops.

I was a bit worried about our stay here after a few comments on here from other travellers but was utterly surprised with our room when we opened our door. It's huge!! Just absolutely perfect after 2 days of travelling! Gorgeous views and bathroom and amazingly quiet for how busy this hotel is.

The hotel does charge a $30 night service charge I only knew about from reading tripadvisor which could be a shock to your budget if you didn't know but you get a lot for it including beach towels, DVD rentals, playstation 3 etc.

The wait to get booked in wasn't the quickest (another complaint that seemed worse than it actually is!) but again service amazing and you've all come from the airport to check in so you have to give the poor staff time to get through everyone! :)

This place is amazing, entertain most days/nights, pools and restaurants everywhere and the shopping is impeccable and this is all within the Hilton Village!!

I wouldn't stay anywhere else nor recommend anywhere else but the best and this is it! :)
