“Cool Dudes, Great Adventure”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

The day we went out was pretty rough, so we could not snorkel or go through the caves like we had hoped for. After the wild ride out there, we didn't want to get into the water or near the caves. Due to the weather conditions we went dolphins hunting instead. We got to see two different pods of dolphins: spinners and bottle nose (bottle nose are rare to see in these waters). This is a ride for the adventurous type. Its rugged, fierce, and exciting. If you want a pampered cozy cruise, id suggest look somewhere else. I warn you; however, if you get sea sick....catamarans are not your friend. Captain Chris is a very experience boater and drove his zodiac like a champ. Him and his first mate "Gilligan" a.k.a. Wayne were both very knowledgeable about the island and the Na Pali coast. We had a great time and it was totally worth the money!

“Amazing and fun”
Reviewed October 10, 2013 via mobile

We went on an early morning cruise on 10 October 2013. The weather was sunny, and the ocean was relatively calm. The captain made it a fun tour, sailing his 500hp zodiac rafting boat for full speed. Everybody seemed to enjoy the bumps. The tour went close to all the attractions along all the napali coast (be aware not every company offers that, as catamarans etc. is not so fast). We saw delphins (jumping in the air several times), and the captain got close to them for a long time. The snorkling was good, but not as impressive as in Thailand. The captain show a lot knowledge about the geological formations and vegetation and historic use of the area. All in all an excellent experience ;-)

“Part of a Great Hawaii Adventure”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

My wife and I (early 50s, first trip to Hawaii) did this to see the Na Pali Coast. It did not disappoint. Although the early morning light on the NW coast did not make for typical postcard photos, it did provide a mood of the place that you normally wouldn't get. Later in the morning, the lighting changed to reveal more of the colors of the coast. Of course, conditions vary, and you may or may not be able to see and do some of the things advertised. For us, the weather was good (mostly sunny, but we did get a little sprinkle up near Hanalei) but the sea was a little rough. So we got good views of the coast and a fun ride, but could not snorkel or go into the caves. We saw plenty of spinner dolphins, but no other marine life, unless you count the surfers. The captain and mate were friendly, entertaining and informative. A raft trip like this is a must-do. The next day, we also hiked a portion of the Kalalau Trail to get a different perspective. We highly recommend that as well!

“Most scenic and thrilling adventure of our trip!”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

We wanted to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Napali coast. We had hiked the Kalalau trail and did the helicopter tour, but this Zodiac raft trip was the absolute best! The Captain and his first mate were hilarious and informative! We got to see the whole coast line and it really wasn't that rough as far as the waves were concerned! It was an absolute thrill ride. Taking the raft into the sea cave was unforgettable! The drinks and snacks were a nice touch! We bought the photo CD for $40 and were really impressed with the quality of the photos! If you like a thrilling adventure, definitely do this trip!

“Stunning and fun!”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

First off, if seeing dolphins is paramount for you, book yourself on the early morning tour. We got lucky and saw a pod on the later tour, but Capt. Chris and Brad told us its much more likely to happen early morning. The tour is amazing and well worth the $130 ticket price. The views you'll see are once in a lifetime. We continually felt like we were in another world, or least some far away country. Captain Chris was super knowledgeable and had a great, sarcastic sense of humor. Brad takes amazing pictures and I definitely recommend you buy the disc at the end. It's $40, but I felt it was well worth it. Don't be afraid to take your own camera or iPhone either. You have plenty of calm moments to snap pictures and the dry bags they provide work great. Also, your footwear doesn't matter because all shoes are collected and you ride barefoot. You may want to bring a hoodie or light windbreaker as well. We got pretty wet via splash and a few rain showers. Nothing to worry about though; this will probably be the best part of your time in Kauai. Simply amazing!
