“Excellent, comfortable room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2012

Stayed for one night on business. Arrived late in the evening after a 4 hour drive The front desk staff was lively and friendly. Really helped end the long drive on a positive note.

The room (suite) was beautiful and bed comfortable. Room had full fridge, dishes and small, 2 burner elect stove. Would be perfect for an extended stay

This hotel is just off Washington Road , on Stevens Creek, Exit 199 off I-20.. It's in an area of several hotels, Hilton Garden, HI Express, Hilton Garden, and Marriott Courtyard. I've stayed at all but the Courtyard. By far this is the best. It's quite , the fitness room has Precor equipment , which is the best. The evening dinner and drinks are very good. The staff works very hard to take care of you. The free breakfast has good cofffee with a fire place on a cold winter morning. This is my first stay, but it won't be my last.

Room Tip: The enterance is a little hard to to see , but well worth the looking.

This is my first trip to Augusta, and I must say how nice this hotel really is. Joyce was the best she gave us a quick check-in and told us where to eat. The whole staff was so helpful and always helpful. I was conducting interviews and they even offered the use of there meeting room. The rooms were very nice and clean. I will be staying here again.

Room Tip: They have smoking rooms! That is very hard to find these days!!!

Although my visit was quick and I wasn't able to enjoy the breakfasts, dinners, and hotel amenities such as the invitng outdoor pool, I found this hotel to be very clean, in an ideal location, and the comfort of these type of suites top notch. The main reason of this review though is to recognize the outstanding front desk employee "Joyce" who went out of her way to make me feel welcomed, and went beyond the call of duty to round up some food and beverages after a very long day. She is a real tribute to this hotel and her customer service skills the best.

perhaps the biggest draw to the homewood chain is that the rooms are separated into bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and lounge/tv room. it gives the impression and feel of a more home-like atmosphere compared to a 1 room efficiency type arrangement (typical of most if not all non-vacation oriented hotel destinations). bonuses are the "free" breakfast and dinner offerings which occur during set times of the day. these are not gourmet 4-star menus (light meals), but for a family on a budget the little things add up. clean room, quiet stay, what more is there to say?

We traveled to Augusta for a family wedding June 17-19. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, always asking if there was anything they could do for us, especially the 3-11 pm shift. Comfortable and clean rooms. This was our first stay at a Homewood Suites and we were very well pleased. Location is off the busy Washington Road traffic but very convenient to downtown and all the Washington Road businesses (restaurants, retail, Augusta National). The on-line checkin was a real plus...you get to choose your room (location)....if I remember right, you need to be signed up for the Hilton rewards program and you check-in 24/48 hrs. in advance of arrival date.

Room Tip: Sign up for the Hilton Rewards program--allows on-line checkin in advance of your arrival.

Stayed here on a weekend night. Two-room suite was clean and well equipped with microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Breakfast (complimentary) of cheese omelets, sausage links, and grits was on par with other Homewood Suites properties, but staff attention while dining was superior. Although property is close to busy main through routes, building is far enough away to have very little road noise. Quite happy to have picked this hotel!

Room Tip: Note that double dividing doors are present in two-room suites, and they are not very soundproof
