I went on a Sunday when it was free admission, good thing too. It only took about 30 minutes to look at everything. The actual content was nice and high quality pieces, but the small size is very underwhelming. Reminded me of a small college gallery. Augusta needs to try harder.

If you are an art lover this museum has some excellent artwork. It is well worth the visit and admission on Sunday is free! What a deal.

The museum is very up together. We were a group aged four to sixty and we all enjoyed it. The children were given a quiz to do as we toured and a small prize for completing it. The art was very varied and interesting. The staff we extremly friendly and helpful. The museum is just off the river walk. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in Augusta.

I did not visit the actual museum but I did go into the shop. I found several items to put away for Christmas. I would strongly recommend this shop.

By any measure, this museum of displayed art is stunning. Changing special exhibitions encourage repeat attendance throughout the year. It is very easy to develop 'favorites' you look forward to seeing again and again. The works fit the scale of the display space beautifully, and the staff are always polite and welcoming. Always a fun destination after a nice meal downtown, with very modest entrance fee of only five dollars (free to the public every Sunday). An esteemed Augusta landmark.
