The Morris Museum surprised me with its well-thought out exhibits of art relating to the Southern experience. The quality of the overall collection is higher than what I had expected to see in a regional art museum and displayed multiple perspectives of the history of the South. The museum has cork floors, which are soft to stand on and also dampen noise, and benches in each gallery. The museum is easy to get to, being right off the Riverwalk, and is in the heart of the downtown area.
