Well organized and well displayed; thoughtful commentary and a very well done setting, especially liked the cork floors which are both luxurious and very quieting

Well planned and very interesting. The nicest building downtown and convenient to Riverwalk. Lady at Visitors' Desk was very helpful.

Nice art museum with plenty to see and it has a nominal fee. If art is an interest for you, this really is worth seeing. You won't find the "great" artists, but there are plenty like Wolf Khan, that have displays and the subject matter is varied. I thought the layout of the museum was very nice and easy. Such a relaxed atmosphere and I would venture that if you have an hour or two to spare while downtown at Marriott or another place, this is a great experience that you won't be sorry visiting.

Right next to the Raddison on the Riverwalk, it is a nice place to spend part of your time in Augusta if visiting. Sunday admission is free!

This museum has a lot of art from southern artists or it's of paintings of the South. There is a wide variety and something to please everyone. Plus, free on Sundays make it a great deal. The gift shop is great and the location next to the river make it nice to go for a stroll afterward.
