“Great deal on Sundays”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

This museum has a lot of art from southern artists or it's of paintings of the South. There is a wide variety and something to please everyone. Plus, free on Sundays make it a great deal. The gift shop is great and the location next to the river make it nice to go for a stroll afterward.

Free sometimes. Great old southern art and collection of more modern work.

“Love the combination of themes from room to room”
Reviewed June 29, 2012

Our granddaughters look at visiting the museum almost the same as a trip to a Theme Park. The displays are diverse, and are changed often enough to make return trips interesting.

“A lovely way to spend time”
Reviewed June 28, 2012

This museum is small, but finely curated with some special pieces. There were a couple of travelling exhibits and the main permanent ones. Both were informative and interesting.

“work of art”
Reviewed June 18, 2012

I love this museum. It's not just a place where amazing art hangs. They have a lot of different venues as well! Do check out The Morris while in Augusta. It sits on the Savannah River and the view is lovely!!!
