but it is pristine clean and very affordable. Staff was helpful and very pleasant - beds were comfortable - breakfast was fresh Krispy Kreme donuts - everything was clean inside - even the landscaping was nice. There was some noise from the adjacent road - but once the door to the room was closed - I didn't hear it anymore. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

This is my third stay at the West Bank Inn. Need I say more? Well, I will. Efficient. Clean. Nice Staff. Well-stocked and clean breakfast area (free with stay). Beds comfortable. Toiletries available and subtle. This is where I stay when I visit family members in North Augusta, South Carolina. Since the rooms are so affordable, I sleep well and family members don't have their bedtime and morning routines interrupted (kids of varying ages). Starbucks close by so a familiar cup of tea latte on the way out in the morning with the cinnamon rolls and yogurt from the hotel's breakfast area. (However, I do get tea first thing in the morning at the hotel, offering both Twinings and Constant Comment. Big Plus.) Other amenities for those who linger at the hotel. First time there? Be prepared for the dumb political jokes from your family.

Room Tip: The McDonalds side seems to be a bit quieter.

We stayed here one night while on our way to the blue ridge mountains and enjoyed our stay. Had tons of love bugs on the bike from the trip and the staff was kind enough to find us a hose to wash it off with. Very kind. Love bugs...why do they call them that??? I don't know anyone who loves them...especially bikers!! lol.. Anyway, will definitely stay here again! Clean rooms, nice comfy California king and cold ac. Give it a try, we did and are happy.

We had read the reviews & decided to give the West Bank a try. This proved to be everything everyone said. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Augusta. Clean, friendly, good value! The motel is older but much has been done to update. Continental breakfast is more than most including Krispy Kreme donuts from the Krispy Kreme store close by.

Room Tip: We were traveling by motorcycle and had requested a ground floor room which is exactly what they res...

Staff was friendly. Room smelled like smoke. Beds and pillows are uncomfortable. Road noise is unbearable. Seems like every other car has a glasspack and there's also a plethora of loud trucks. Area and hotel are just plain sketchy. Cops camp out at the Waffle House across the street.

I travel for a living, so I always like to find rooms at a good price. I stumbled on West Bank Inn several years ago due to the rating it was receiving on the internet. This is a well run hotel. It does not have a lot of amenities, but if it did, I would expect to pay more. I like it's value proposition. Clean room, decent breakfast at a lower rate than chains of equivalent stars.
If you are looking for more than this, go some where else and pay the higher price.
For me, this is a great value and I will continue to stay there, when I am in the area.

We stayed one night in July, our second visit. It is a nice place, clean, up-to-date and a bargain.
Our room was relatively close to the very busy street, but we were not bothered by excessive noise. Beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was especially strong. It's not the Ritz, but it is a good deal.

Room Tip: I'm not sure they have an elevator. It is a two story, so I'd specify a ground floor room.
