My husband and I decided to try this place. He runs downtown a lot and was always curious about it. Before we went, we printed off the menu and read a few reviews which were all complimentary. Went on a Friday night, early, and we were the only ones in this small little place. The cook was sitting on a sofa watching TV when we arrived. Nothing fancy, just a few tables inside and out. Our beer was served in small plastic glasses, albeit very inexpensive for draft domestic. My husband ordered the the Captain Lou's platter. For the price, it wasn't much food and didn't look anything like the picture on their website. I had a combo platter and was surprised that no sides were included. Although we cleaned our plates, we left feeling we didn't get what we should have--could have been we were the only customers and they weren't fully ready.
