Average hotel on I-20 with a very very good evening clerk who was the only staff member on duty yet responded promptly to a serious maintenance emergency and to others' requests for towels with a smile and a professional attitude. Breakfast service basic and slow to refill empty items. Cleanliness was excellent in room and public areas.

Holiday Inn Express hotels are in general very satisfactory locations to stay. This one is no exception. Very comfortable rooms, in a relatively good location with many other hotels in the general area. Breakfast here is a little disappointing and not up to the standard breakfast I find at other HI Express hotels. Specifically missing is gravy each morning which I find at every other HI Express I stay at. Otherwise this hotel meets my standards.

The hotel is expensive. Stayed three weeks and the room price went up to $170.00 (incl. taxes) for certain nights. The prices ranged from $105.00 to that $170.00. Thre is really nothing happening in this area. I did not eat breakfast often but when I did, there was no gravy like the other locations have. I was told they only serve gravy on Mondays!?
There is also no "Happy Hour", unlike other locations.I did have a good time nest door at the Mexican restaurant. Great stuff!
The hotel is very clean and quiet, conveniently located close to the I 20.
Your regular restaurants and strip malls are only minutes away.
I had a good time, but will probably not go back. There are muiltiple (much cheaper) places in the area.

Room Tip: Laundry on second floor. Stay away from room 212.

This hotel is clean friendly and well maintained. The breakfast is typical and plentiful of the HI Express line. The hotel property is bordered by other hotels and restaurants, very close to I20 and Washington Road. Everything you could imagine is just a few minutes away. Parking is abundant and well lit. Internet service is free and paid depending on how fast you want. The free internet was good enough to stream some movies but had some freezing. Overall a very nice hotel worthy of a second visit.

Room Tip: Handicapped room on the third floor is huge.

This is your standard safe clean and convient HIE. Plenty of room and easy parking. Good free breakfast and free WIFI. One minor issue is that this closet is a little small and is stuck behind the mirrior. I also thought that the price for a HIE was a little high (and it is not even Master's Week.) I would probably stay there again.

Just returned from an overnight stay. Hotel was awesome!!!!! The minute you walked in the front door everything smelled clean and fresh, even after a rainy day and @ 9pm. The check in process was smooth and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean through out entire building, not just upfront. Room was also just as clean. The breakfast buffet had everything from muffins, bagels, cereal, pancakes to yogurt and hard boiled eggs. Breakfast was better than in a restaurant and not to mention it was "free".

The hotel was modern and clean with a friendly and efficient staff. The general area is a little sketchy after dark but the entire hotel is well lit with security cameras and I never say a non guest in the area.
