The property entrance is a little tricky - The Comfort shares a lot with a Quality Inn and the Quality signs are more prominent. As you approach from I-20 turn in at the curb cut just past the Waffle House or you will have to make two U-Turns to get back to it again. The same entrance serves both hotels.

This Comfort hotel is a smaller version of Comfort's prototype. It is generally well managed - the details are mostly right. The hotel is non-smoking and non-pet, both ok with me. As usual for Comfort it has a breakfast with a waffle maker, pool (outside), free Internet, work out center (one tread mill), Business Center where you can print your boarding passes, and is clean and nice.

Due to the hotels's small size the desk clerk also handles the breakfast. As you would expect this means the breakfast bar isn't always perfectly stocked. But the staff is always professional and helpful and they are happy to remedy any oversight.

If you plan to stay here take a look at a map and note the roads behind the property. The main entrance on Jimmie Dyess Parkway is a divided highway. To avoid U-turns you often can often approach the property from the rear.

Hotel wasexactly what we needed for the night... Very nice rooms and common area... Even though we got there late at night the employees still had a smile!

Would reccomend!

The manager was rude from the first inquiry about group rates. The staff were rude and unfriendly for the most part. The front desk manager was rude and accused our team of things we didn't do. Our initial group rate turned out to be more expensive than if we'd booked it individually. There were problems checking back in when we qualified for the next round; they also increased our rate and tried to deny that the manager had assured me of the same rate. Front desk manager then left the employee to deal with things and never returned to help her out. The breakfast was not what they had told us when booking. The garbage can in the breakfast area was full each morning before we had breakfast. There were not enough towels. We didn't receive bedding for the pull out sofa-bed. It was clean for the most part, but we won't be staying here again or recommending them. The manager increased our rate because a recent baseball team stayed there and caused problems. She assumed we would do the same, so gave us what we later found out was a higher rate than individuals would have gotten. So much for my honesty when she initially asked what kind of group we were and why we were in town. She then "forgot" which team we were when we called them out on increasing our rates.

I stayed during the 4th of July holiday. The room was clean and nicely laid out.Hotel was in a good location right off the hwy. The breakfast was ok, but unattended all weekend long with watered down coffee. Had to go to the desk both mornings that I was there for assiatance. Also the desk staff was good, but it would be nice for them to stand and greet you while you enter, or even while checking you in. All in all a good stay, and I would stay again.

Using T.A. reviews as a guide, we decided to try the Comfort Suites because it was new. The first room we stayed in had a large "kitchen" sink and refrigerator, which was very nice for our leftovers, and for putting some food in that I had brought to take to a bridal shower. The view out of the window was of another hotel.
The sheets were soft, and my husband set the AC on "fan" so it wouldn't cycle on & off all night .We slept soundly, until the family upstairs woke up very early and started running, jumping, banging the doors, etc.. This went on all morning, so we requested a change of rooms. Finally, around 3 PM, we were told another room was available, so we moved all of our things to another floor. I was very surprised that this room had no kitchen sink, and the fridge was tiny, as well as the microwave. I just assumed that all of the rooms would have the same configuration. ( Our friend's room didn't have a large sink or frig., but they had a couch-go figure)
The lobby is very small and has a small couch, two chairs and a television. The morning breakfast area has several tables, as well as the standard "make your own waffle" maker, white bread, tasteless rolls, "fake" orange juice, etc.. I was happy to find a banana and a yogurt. We were also happy to find a Starbucks off of Wrightboro Rd., about a 5 minute drive from C.S.
The walls are thin and you can hear the people walking above in all rooms, and the doors slam loudly. There is no safe in the room.
We would probably stay here again, because overall, it was clean, the sheets and bed were comfortable, the air-conditioner worked fine, and the senior citizen rate was great.

Room Tip: Requests made at booking not honored
