“A little history goes a long way..”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

Housed in a beautiful building (the back of which faces Reynolds Street- the front faces Broad St) there is something for every member of the family. The entrance fee is reasonable and the exhibits are varied. James Brown to Medicine and health care- if you are new to Augusta or returning for a visit, you'll want to start out here!

“Well Worth a Visit”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

We wanted to have a look at the famous golf course but being thwarted by walls and hedges we decided to visit the museum. What a very good decision! The ladies in the visitor centre there were very helpful, advised us on local places to eat and things to do for the short time we had available. Nice gifts available to buy there as well. The museum is fascinating, lots of historical information presented in a lively way and well organised to flow from room to room; kept us occupied for quite a while. Free parking is a bonus.

“The church ladies liked it!”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

Had a Church group of ladies visit the museum and do the Trolley Tour of Augusta. Was very good and the staff was very cordial and informed. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.

“Great little place”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

The curators were very sweet! It was $4 for admission. They had a large section dedicated to James Brown that was a lot of fun.
