“Captivating!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

My family, which included a 4 year old, really enjoyed the exhibits on display at the museum. There was plenty to see which held the attention of all of us and our interests are quite different. The James Brown exhibit is exquisite with a documentary highlighting his career. This is a must-see stop on your trip!

“Amazing!!”

You've got to visit the Augusta Museum of History. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. You MUST see the James Brown exhibit and watch his documentary on the big screen inside the museum.

“Great find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

We (9yr & I ) visited during the Masters ( husband at golf). It was a great find - very interesting. We are not Americans so the history was really good showing us how things were during the civil war. Various displays allowed touching ( you could put a soliders backpack on - to feel the weight) The displays with the guns and army stuff kept me son interested. Being able to walk through a old stream train was good. The James Brown display was very interesting and informative. The golf section was good to. Overall interesting and informative and kept my sons attention for a long time.
