We went to Trappeze on the recommendation of a friend and weren't disappointed. The menu wasn't huge, but varied. We tried a number of dishes and the quality was fantastic on all of them. My son practically inhaled the boiled peanuts. They didn't have a kids menu but were able to customize several of the adult options. The setting was casual and cozy. I was also impressed with the wine list - like the menu it wasn't extensive but varied and interesting.

We went on the horrible night when Auburn' football team beat UGA. We had heard lots about the place but didn't realize they had a separate restaurant. Food was very good, plenty of room, excellent service.

Had the barbecue sandwich---it had "pickled green beans" and arugula on it. Also, the bbq sandwich had an unusual vinegar based sauce on it that was not very good. Hard to tell, though, when you have pickled green beans on your palate. That should clue you in to the food. Will get the house burger next time. The service is great and the beer and wine list is lengthy. My guest had the fish and chips and the fish was average. If you like French Onion soup it is good here. For good fish and chips go to The Globe. If you want good beer and wine come here.

We walked in a little late on a Saturday night, so we missed their food options but the beverage selections were great! The Beer selection rivals some of the best pubs in Atlanta. Plenty of great rotating draught beers, along with a long selection of Craft and Specialty imports. The Bartenders were exceptionally knowledgeable and very social. Can't wait to go back earlier to try their food, as Everyone that was a regular promised it was the best food found in a bar in Athens!

Whenever someone comes to town to visit - this is the place we bring them to. The garlic fires with blue cheese dip and the Asian tacos are to die for! We have always had great service. Its so nice to feel all that southern hospitality as soon as you open the door. And oh yes the most important thing....the beer! If you love beer than this is the place to be. 30 crafted beers in a college town - who knew? Love, love love Trappeze
