Great Grounds, polite staff. I love the saturdays when the families can visit and then make some art in the studio. A lot of fun.

The renovated and enlarged museum re-opened in 2011 and much more from the permanent collection is now on display. The highlights include southern decorative arts, American and European art, sculpture, and pieces from the Kress collection. There are also traveling exhibitions (and GMOA coordinates with other museums with loans). The sculpture garden is beautifully situated outside with unimpeded views through a wall of glass. Ike & Jane's is a small cafe located on the main floor. There is no fee although voluntary donations are encouraged. Great museum shop, too!!
