The Pizza menu options available here are nto what woudl be considered normal by US standards. You won't find a supreme pizza on the menu....although you could order such a concoction topping by topping. Their specialties really shine through toppings like bacon and corn, tomato, basil and olive oil, and our favoirte the broccoli, carrot and onion.

All the pizzas are in a wood fired oven that has a very good flavor, and each individual pizza, whether from the slightly different as mentioned above to the seafood influenced pizzas (anchovies are available, I have had the shrimp and shrimp and tuna based pizzas...only for the hardcore seafood lover) or even the Catracho pizza (refried bean based with local sausage) seems to have a different taste...whether the ingredients vary a little or quite a bit.

The best is upgrading your pizza for the stuffed crust which adds even more individuality to the pizza...especially the sesame seeds included on the crust with this option. The stuffing is either mozerella or mozerella/cheddar/ham.

The main branch is the place to visit if you have never been before for the most available menu options, but there are also other Pizza Houses available around Tegucigalpa...one near the airport (behind the Esso gas station at the end of the runway near the Anillo) one on the way to Valle de Angeles, and another newer branch near the hotel district Plaza San Martin.

You can also get the regular beverage fare...pepsi, etc. but be sure to also ask for natural fruit beverages...I have had their lemonade and watermelon juice, both are quite tasty and much cheaper if you have a larger group and buy it by the pitcher.

The menu also includes various appetizers and other options such as an average salad bar or pasta based dishes, I have seen a few people order these items, but the main reason to visit is for the original and very tasty pizzas.

The main branch has a dining room plus another room with seating and as well a play area for the kids that is not huge by Honduran fast-food standards, but is entertaining for the kids regardless. Both dining rooms have TVs for viewing, and the service is better than typical here in Honduras.

One caveat...if you are in a hurry, this is not your best option. The pizzas take quite a while for preparation and cooking. Do not expect to have them in most instances in under 1/2 hour. During peak traffic we have waited up to 45 minutes for our pizzas, and that was for carry out. When you order you can ask how long it will take, especially if you are ordering to go...but I generally add at least an extra five minutes to whatever they tell me if there are other customers waiting or eating in the restaurant. They also offer delivery via motorcycle, we have never used that option.
