The Driftwood was recommended by the staff at Utopia Dive Village, and we understand why they recommended it. The food was outstanding. We enjoyed their sampler platter and wings. I'm hooked on the wings... We sat out over the bay, and had a nice cool breeze on a hot day. It was real nice until a squall came through and chased us inside. The service was good... she kept us well supplied with beer... the odd part was the food menu is on the wall... So, we all had to go to the wall to order... Overall... It was excellent. I never thought I'd find good wings in Honduras... but after reading several reviews... I understand why... the owner is from Texas...

We ended up at Driftwood just about every night of our 11 days on Utila. Our first night at Driftwood we were impressed with our food, and made friends with the bar staff, owner, the one and only Jungle Jim, and "Miss Kittty" the cat. We felt so at home and welcome there we had to at least have a few beers there every day, and a few more other days. When we go back, we will head right over and say "hi" to our friends, order some Salvas, and put our toes in the water. Hi Miss Sharon--Jim and Anita

Had Snapper fresh off the boat. The most delicious meal on the Island. As always service and staff are great and the company excellent. Always the Cheers of the South! A great place to relax and watch the bay at sunset.
