We snorkeled, hung out in an air-conditioned cabana, had a lobster lunch, drank a few local beers, did a little shopping for local stuff, and then headed back to the ship. The snorkeling was incredible. The reef (2nd largest in the world) was about 200 yards from shore. We accessed it from a snorkel boat with a local guide. We loved the lobster lunch that Paul and his girl (cannot spell her name) cooked up fresh for us and served at the gazebo. The beach was amazing. Our cabana had an inside and outside shower. Chaise lounges were provided. The entire family had a fabulous time and hated to see the day end. For reservations, contact David Paul at roatanrock@yahoo.com. They will arrange to meet you at the pier. This was by far the nicest excursion we ever experienced in 25 years of traveling. And at $70 US dollars for the transfer, guided snorkel trip, cabana, and lunch, it was also the best deal we ever found. Don't miss this one if you're in the neighborhood!

Paradise Lost is a perfect place in Roatan. No frills, good value, good customer service. An amazing place. Carlos helped plan so many things for us and was an invaluable contact for us before our stay in Roatan. He will help you with a lot of different information and contacts. He even helped us plan our ferry trip mid-week to Utila, which was very difficult to gather information for. Personal huts make it ideal for couples. The insides are dated, but who cares? You are on a beautiful island with tons of things to do. Don't miss this place

Room Tip: All rooms are basically equal

The brothers who own this are very kind. The facilities are modest but well designed and wonderfully located, well kept and reasonably priced. Very quiet for the west end. White sand, palms and flowers easy access to water right on the grounds. Duplex bungalows. Repeat customers, van service. Well done.

Room Tip: Some are closer to the water. The sunsets are stunning from the grounds.

Awe have spent a week on Roatan diving and relaxing, we stayed at 3 different placed, this is best if you like
1. Being right on the beach
2. Having wifi in your room - a little slower some times, but basically fine
3. Quiet at night
4. 5 minutes walk to the heart of West End
5. Very y clean and tidy room
6. Service that is friendly, attentive and happy to help

We really liked Lost Paradise Inn and would stay again.

My family and I just came back from Roatan and stayed at Lost Paradise on the West End. We were a group of 18 people so we kind of had the whole place to us. It is a great place if you are looking for a quiet place. Do keep in mind they are cabins right on the water but there is no restaurants or bar service. However there many many places to go eat and drink along West End which is walking distance. The owners - Santiago was amazing. They even picked us up and drove us to airport. Thanks for your hospitality

Lost Paradise Inn in West End, Roatan is pretty basic but that lends itself to the enjoyment and beauty of Roatan. I e been to Roatan 3 times and have stayed here each time. The Pisces room is my favorite because its closest to the water and has a bit of privacy. The rooms are basic - great air conditioning, comfortable beds, shower And coffee pot along with a front porch and out door shower. The family that owns the place works on site and you couldn't ask for a nicer family to wrk with. Pick up and delivery to the airport. You also can just walk down the street and be to shopping, food, bars and water sports or yoga. The location of Lost Parafise is not secluded but sure feels like it. So extremely relaxing and beautiful

Room Tip: Ask for the Pisces room. It's the best one there and the first to get booked

I was there with my 2 sons, my wife, my best friend, his wife and daughter from July 4th till July 7th. We had great weather and lots of fun. The best thing from Lost Paradise Inn is that you feel right at home since you get there. Mr. Santiago and his nephew are great people. May the lord bless them in all ways. You have beautiful beachfront cabins, hot water, a/c, comfy beds, fridge, coffee maker, gazebos with hammocks. Beautiful flowers in the garden. Well everything is great plus the prices are awesome. I totally recommend for family and friend reunions.

Room Tip: Get the single beachfront cabins closest to the dock.
