“I Thought I Didn't Like Fishing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2013

After watching three lines start to pull at the same time, and seeing the scurrying of the people on the deck, I have to admit, I was totally caught up in the excitement. Before I knew it, I was sitting in the chair waiting for my turn to reel in the fish. What a rush!

I loved the attitude of the crew, the food, the adventure, the fun and the fact that no matter what the problem or concern, everyone was covered.

We had one person get sea sick, she was taken care of right away and watched over carefully. Another person was having trouble with his snorkel, it was exchanged immediately, another person didn't want to eat fish, no problem a sandwich was there just for him. Every little thing that came up - because it always does - was handled effectively, efficiently and in such a friendly way.

I have to say though, the highlight of the trip was the crew. Tim made sure everyone was part of the action, Mike made sure we had fish aplenty to fish for (and this wasn't even a full fishing excousion - it was just for something to do while we were on the long ride to the island), and Blue, well, she was the hostess extraordinaire!

I am coming back with more friends!

“Ruthless Roatan Charters memories and adventures of a lifetime!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013

Our adventure was fabulous with Tim and Mike sharing their vast knowledge of Roatan and Our adventure was fabulous with Tim and Mike sharing their vast knowledge of Roatan and surrounding islands on our incredible experience to Cayos Cochinos on "RuthLess" their custom restored vintage 1966 Hatteras Cruiser! To begin our adventure we were welcomed aboard by friendly Tim and crew member Blue dockside at Half Moon Bay, West End. While treated to a fabulous assortment of breakfast delicacies, fruit, multiple choices of juices, drinks, and Eco Organic Coffee.

We met and mingled with other passengers, who also were curiosity adventure seekers while Tim shared rules of safety and our itinerary for the day. Offering stories of culture, history, our friendly crew showcasing their experiences was undeniably entertaining! Along the way we learned, laughed, shared, photographed, enjoying fishing to and from Cayos Cochinos. From our first strike we were hooked! Everyone joined in yelling "FISH ON" Tim taking control with Mike at the helm. Ruthless caught an assortment of fish giving everyone the thrill and opportunity to take the fishing seat! Fulfilling peoples bucket lists along the way!

The fly bridge was information central with humor thrown in for an good measure. Every inch of Ruthless was open to explore, with the sunshine and bow enticing me with blue skies and great views for photos. We met some fantastic people who we've shared photos and laughs with since our trip at the local west end watering holes! The Ruthless liquid libation choices were stocked and complete, fabulous and flowing consistently from the galley with plentiful trays of fruits and veggies! :) Yum!

We explored the keys, marveled at the ocean in it's changing colors, riding the waves of adventure, snapped shots of the mesmerizing powerful sea and skies. We toured the islands at a relaxing pace, visiting, preparing for our first peak of Cayos! Breathtaking colors, photos captured these moments that our memories will never forget. Our excitement peaked as we realized we were having the time of our life! Fins, snorkels, masks were our costume for the next few hours as we soaked up the waters of Cayos. We explored the depths seeing needle fish, perch, parrot fish, lobster, crabs, sea anemones, conch, coral, etc...opening our imaginations to world of marine life.

We swam or were canoed to the island welcomed by the friendly locals and their families sharing in their handmade crafts, and jewelry, their livelihood. Fresh catch of live lobster in cages on the shore greeted us. They hand prepared for us grilling fresh caught perch, rice and plantains in the shade of their hand built homes. Their laundry colors blew in the tropical winds which made for a colorful relaxing picnic! After swimming and snorkeling all afternoon, full belly's, we were primed and ready to depart from this tropical oasis exploring the other beautiful islands as Tim prepped the fishing tackle for our trip home...

FISH ON was the theme of the day, we had a great catch at one point, with 4 fish on all at once! Tim's fishing experience handled the frenzy with smooth control. Excitement had by all! What a fabulous all consuming adventure... Ruthless Roatan Charters!

Exchanging our adventure stories has been fun during the week on Roatan running into our cruise companions with laughter and great memories. Awesome crew, fabulous food and drink, great company, new friends, spectacular memories, sunshine, there's nothing better! Thank you Ruthless, Tim you are incredible and thoroughly made my dreams come true!! Just sayin'! Totes!

“Sunset Cruise with Ruthless Roatan Charters”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 14, 2013

Absolutely great! Not only did we have a great ride, but the attitude of the crew was delightful. The captain kept us both informed and entertained on the fly bridge (played his own music from his iPhone), Tim tried very hard to catch us a tuna, Michelle made sure that we had drinks and food, plus provided very interesting conversation, Cuny was, well, celebrating his birthday and waiting for the tuna that stood us up. BTW, for those that don't know it, Cuny was key in saving the lives of the family that went down with a small tour plane in early 2012, as well as being a start baseball player in Roatan. Bottom line, we enjoyed the outing and, when we return to Roatan, going out again will be a the top of our list!

“Sunset Boat Trip with Great People!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2013

We took a sunset boat trip on our final night in Roatan. Ruthless Roatan pulled up to the West End dock with coolers full of beer, liquor and mixers. After they picked up kebabs from Coconut Tree, we were on our way with fishing lines trolling. Captain Mike was at the helm as Tim and Michelle made sure our drinks were full. We cruised the Caribbean as we met new friends and took in our final night as the sun set. On the turn back to the West End, Tim caught a wahoo which was very exciting. The amazing three hour boat ride concluded and we took the party to Sundowners for more drinks with our new traveling friends. Thanks to Mike, Tim and Michelle for the great memories and great experience!

“Absolutely Not To Be Missed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

My husband and I have traveled extensively. Cruising with Ruthless Charters was undeniably one of the best experiences that we have ever had. We took the day cruise to Cayos Cochinos, ate fresh snapper prepared by the natives there, fished while cruising, caught a mahi mahi and saw whales on the way home. Now, you could perhaps do all of this in another Caribbean touristy islands however, you will never meet the likes of Tim, Michele and Mike. From the moment we stepped aboard the pristine boat we felt like the most important people in the world. The crew kept us fed, comfortable, entertained and safe. Very safe!!! Not only was it a fabulous trip to Cayos Cochinos but since the whales started appearing late in the day… instead of heading directly home we changed course in order to observe the pod. We stayed out so long that the sun began to set and we could all see that it was going to be spectacular. The crew being who they are instead of heading home on time allowed us (with our consent) to experience a sunset that we will never forget. This made Mike late for dinner but gave us about 3 more hours of excitement than we had bargained for. The next night was our last night in Roatan (this time around) and we chose to spend it with Ruthless Charters on another Sunset Cruise. If you thinking of visiting Roatan do it! When you do hook up with Ruthless Charters you won’t regret it.
