Great island restaurant over the water in Camp Bay on the east side of Roatan. We were staying at Paya bay resort, just a short drive away. It was the perfect sunset restaurant for happy hour and a meal. We enjoyed being over the water and the great view. We had a wonderful meal of lobster,
Lion fish, and lion fish Ceviche. The lion fish is a must try meal, delicious. The owner Jimmy was very cool, and made our evening. The topper was the key lime pie, so good. Oh, and don't forget to try the Coco Loco!s..

Totally worth the drive along the dirt road (not really that bad) to the east end of the island. Great scenery and you really get to see a wonderful, unspoiled section of the island -- in fact we loved it so much we made the trip twice it was that good. The Grouper, Yellowtail, and the Lionfish burrito's and ceviche were amazing - some of the best mashed potatoes we have had in a very long time. Sirena is an outstanding cook and makes you feel at home. Jimmy is a great host and conversationalist. You will be missing the true Roatan experience if you don't venture to La Sirena - the food, drinks (Rum Punch), view, atmosphere is like no where else on island. We loved this place. Oh and one piece of advice. Continue the drive east down the dirt road - what an amazing view towards Guanaja and the mangroves. All the best to Sirena and Jimmy!!

Excellent lobster, shrimp and rum punches. Jimmy is a truly wonderful host. Camp Bay is an hour drive from Coxen Hole and the last 20 minutes are on a gravely road - take the right car.

As most of the others have said...this place is awesome. While on Roatan we took a day to drive the Island. There is only one road the length of the Island with bends and curves and lots of potholes. The worst part of the drive is the last 5 miles. It's not paved and your are not too sure you are on the right path, but forge on, it's worth it. I wouldn't recommend going at night, however.

If you have seen the pictures of this little restaurant, it's on pilings over the water with little else around. The owner runs the restaurant with her husband and take good care while you are there. Stat the experience with her rum punch, it's great. We has the Lion Fish ceviche to start, yum. Since we we went early afternoon by wife and I shared the lobster. Wow! The flavor is amazing. The great food, with great attention, and lovely location make this a perfect way to spend several hours.

We ventured down the old dirt road based on trip advisor reviews. We ended up following another American couple the entire way, and made quick friends. The view is amazing with a little sway to it. The owner Jimmy was there, relaxing after work. He was interesting to talk to and gave us an overview of the island history. This over the water palapa/restaurant and bar was amazing. The hammock in the corner, just put it over the top.
Rum punch: delicious and packs a punch.
Lionfish Ceviche: phenomenal.
Seafood plate: the lobster was good, lionfish delish, and the garlic mashed potatoes were so creamy.
Vegetable plate: surprising, it was rice, beans, plantains...none of which are vegetables? should have asked.
The food was good, but not the best thing I've ever eaten. I would go back for the beach, ambience, and company.
