I am not really in a position to make a definitive judgement about whether Utz Hua is the best place to get regional cuisine in Guatemala, but I can say that the dishes on the menu, though simple, we're interesting. The tomato-based salsa in my dish was fresh and tasty; the pickled onion and beet salad was a nice accompaniment; and the tortillas were soft, almost fluffy, fresh delights. I liked the direct simplicity of the food presentation, simple with an aesthetic touch -- not the slam-bang utilitarianism of a McDonald's. I would go here again for lunch.
