Set within a beautifully restored building,
Tertulainos is a nice place to have a meal.

Food, service and prices are all very good.

Worth a visit when in Xela.

I ate there for valentines day this year and had a wonderful time. The food was great, service was on top of things and it was an overall positive experience!

Tertulianos is mostly known for their upscale lunches and dinners, so it was a nice surprise to stop by at 10:30 a.m. and find that they also serve breakfasts. The least expensive breakfast is Q30 and the most expensive is Q65. These prices include coffee and juice, but not the tip.

I had breakfast at Tertulianos on Monday, July 2, 2012. I ordered the "Omelette al San Tertulianos" which included eggs, ham, cheese, and a red sauce. The plate came with beans, nachos, fried plantains, coffee, juice (as noted above) and a basket of bread. My bill was Q49.

For just a little bit more than I would have paid in a "comedor" or fast food place, I got to have breakfast in one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Xela, with white table cloths, cloth napkins, and an extremely courteous and attentive staff. I really have no complaints about any aspect of the experience.

The place is simply incredible, their selection of wines and cheeses is very good, but don't step aside of it, the rest of their food is not tasty at all. They carry a wide variety of plates but all served with the same sides, so if you come twice you will get bored.
