After being in the jungle for a few days with no wifi, we decided to come chill here and catch up on emails, etc. They have very fast internet - my pics were uploading to Facebook in seconds! The location on the main drag was fabulous - lots of good people watching, including an argument between two local girls vying to braid one gringos hair.
We tried several of the drinks - mojitos, caipurina and pina colada. All were mixed strongly and quite tasty. We also had the local Garifuna speciality, Tapado soup, and it was very delicious. A combination of whole fish, unshelled gambas, and crab, in a coconut and curry broth - yum! Portion size was huge and it was served with coconut bread.
The service was a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry, and I didn't care for their bathrooms at all, but I still think they deserve a solid 5 for the overall experience.
