We found Jenna's on trip advisor and her outstanding reviews sold it. There was nowhere else to stay! We do not like staying at resorts, and prefer somewhere where you can connect with local people and fellow travellers. This is another reason why we contacted Jen.

Jen exceeded our expectations! She is an amazing person, with so much personality, extremely friendly, funny, kind and helpful...An amazing host!

The rooms are lovely, all equipped with Jens artwork and local Mayan art/craft work. The house also having so much personality equipped with Jens travel memorabilia and art.

Jen is very knowledgable and is a wealth of good up to date information, and advised us on what to do, where to eat on our short 2 day trip to panajachel. We spent a day visiting local villages around he lake, ending up in a hot tub over looking the lake eating beautiful cuisine and drinking good wine. There are some very good restauramts in pana also.

But, why eat out when your host (Jen) is such an amazing cook, and makes the prefect mojito! Sit on the roof terrace and take in the sunsets over the lake. Beautiful!

Jens breakfasts are superb where everybody sits around the table like one big family, and share travel experiences. Everything is home cooked, the breakfasts are divine!!

The garden is huge and beautiful and You can tell that Jen is proud of this when she does the grand tour. Avocado and fruit trees etc...

Last but not least her 3 dogs, Cha Cha, Mitch and cheeky lovely little Sammy are lovely and so friendly. Jen let me take Sammy for a walk into the village. This adds to the homely experience that Jen creates. We cannot speak highly enough of you, your staff, dogs, and welcome to Guatemala for the first time - and we are sure to return.

We could go on all day.....Just stay at Jens and see for yourself...

Thank you for an amazing review. I hope I can live up to it. Anyway you are such a charming couple. On your honeymoon too. I am truly honoured that you chose my little place for such a special occasion. Of course I sincerely hope that you will be visiting again. It was a pleasure. Jennifer

I absolutely l love this place. The breakfasts are divine and better than anything you can get on the street. It's also cozy, with comfy beds, gorgeous sheets and towels (I appreciate those finer details) good showers and wifi. Jenna has been in Pana a long time so she is a great source of information and happily provides you with where to go and what to eat. Especially great if your planning to stay while. She's just a gorgeous host. And you really feel like you can kick back and relax on those lazy days. It's just the place to stay in Pana. I'll be back to buy that mango chutney! Yum!

Jenna's B&B was an amazing place to be right from the start. Jenna made us feel right at home with amazing towels, robes, and incredibly comfortable beds. Her breakfasts are fabulous! The room was super cute and spacious. The water quality doesn't seem to be that great so we were sure to use purified water (which she is more than happy to provide) for brushing teeth and what not. There are three very cute dogs that are always happy to see and entertain the guests.

From the first minute it felt at Jenna's like you're a long-awaited friend. Her warm welcome and impeccable rooms took all doubts: this is it ! The rooms are nicely decorated with wood and homemade paintings. We both have a weak back and slept wonderfully in the bed. The nice thick towels felt very nice after the invigorating hot shower with rain shower from the nozzle. The view of the tropical garden and the volcano are fine, but there is also a roof terrace where you can enjoy fine cocktails Jenna made with love. Try the mojito or pina colada! The breakfast was always full, but we will especially remember the bread they bake themselves. Delicious brown bread. Try to find that in Guatemala! The last evening we enjoyed a three course meal that they-on request-serving. Typical Guatemalan and delicieus! Jenna's bed and breakfast, we recommend everyone to get the best value for money, but we dare say even more: Panajachel should be proud of this Canadian host.

I'm very glad that you enjoyed your stay here and it was a pleasure to prepare mojitos for such appreciative guests! Any time, just say the word.
I'm also very touched that you mention me as a Canadian host in Panajachel. I sort of forget sometimes as I've now been here for almost 25 years. Hopefully I will have the pleasure of your company again one of these days. Jennifer

Jenna's place really is like having a home for your stay in Panajachel. With fluffy towels and robes, a super comfy bed, amazing cooked breakfast and three of the cutest dogs around to greet you when you get in.
Did I mention the food is amazing!? Ever seen someone cook 3 perfect looking crepes simultaneously whilst finding the number and calling the local doctor for you? Jenna is that crazy great person with the local knowledge you need and with an infectious cackle of a laugh that will have you smiling every morning!
Really a must stay if your in town...
Thanks for a memorable stay Jenna x

Stayed with 4 friends at Jenna's place for the weekend and felt very at home. Nice, clean rooms, good showers, fabulous garden, roof terrace and the best bed i've slept in since leaving the UK. Jenna is a fascinating woman and a great host and lays on a lavish breakfast every morning in a cosy home style setting. She was always happy to take time out to chat or advise during our stay even though she clearly had a hundred things to do. Her 'intro' to Pana was exactly what we needed on arrival and her recommendations were perfect for helping us plan a great weekend. I have to mention the dogs here as all 3 are really lovely friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Jenna's place to anyone who appreciates good old fashioned hospitality.

It was fun to welcome you all here. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I hope you return one of these days. Thank you for all the nice comments. It's always a little nerve-racking moving into a new place and wondering what people will think, but a relief when it turns out to be okay. Thank you again.

Staying at Jenna's is like staying with an old friend. She is fun, her house is comfortable, and her cooking is healthy, delicious and beautifully prepared. You will love staying here if you want to be close to the action but not the noise, if you appreciate art, fabrics, textiles, folk art, sweet doggies, good wine and you want comfort and beauty without being in a sterile, high priced claustrophobic hotel room. Here you have the whole house, a stimulating host, and room for your friends or family. My only fear is that too many people will start going there and Ill never get to stay again because she will be booked up. But, it's also too nice a place not to share the treasure. Go, relax and tell her Libby and Hannah sent you.

Libby and Hannah. What a lovely review, thank you so much. I'm now settled in the new place. It's roomier, more places to hang out in. Larger garden and a terrace with lake view to see the sunsets with the volcanoes. I certainly hope you will be back again soon. It was lovely to have you here. J
