The restaurant is in Plaza Fontabella shopping mall. You pass armed guards to get in and once inside you're as safe as can be in Guatemala City. You can then wander round the designer shops and busy restaurants.
After days of Mexican-style food, Tre Fratelli was a very welcome find. I went there two nights in a row. It's a busy, lively and quite noisy place full of younger types drinking wine.
For starters both the mixed veg platter and the calamari were good, though a bit over generous with olive oil. The Campari fish was fine but a touch over flavoured. The Florentina beef was good. Service was good.
I would definitely go back again.
