I'm grading on the curve with the "average" but in their defense, the manager seemed to be trying to make it right.
Everything took too long. We were seated quickly but then waited quite a while for a server to take our drink orders. That took awhile and at that time he took our food order. Our group was me, wife, three grandkids (10, 9, 7). We were organized, having asked the kids what they wanted and any sides. Somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes I asked if there was a problem. The server said order was coming up then. He brought four of the five entrees and the sides were wrong on two of them. He said that the five was coming right up and brought the correct sides.
Five minutes passed and I asked what the problem was and he disappeared for about five minutes at which time I followed him to the bar where I asked the manager what happened. He said that the order had been processed wrong the first time (chicken instead of steak) and they re-did it. I told him that someone could have told me and that it was not acceptable.
He brought it and told me that the steak was comped. When the bill came, the steak was on there but I noticed that there was a discount on each item. It worked out to about the cost of the steak but I thought that was a strange way to do it.
