While in town on a business trip with my wife I stumbled across this pub while wandering aimlessly around the town square. Upon first glance this place looks like your typical small town pub with many unfilled tables and less than perfect housekeeping. As I sat myself at the bar top, I was greeted with a happy smile and pleasurable greeting welcoming me to the establishment. Being from out of town I prefer to eat at local "hole in the wall" establishments giving back to the local small business owners. I asked what was good and the waitress told me to try the ribeye sandwich with the fries for $8 so I did. After about 10 minutes my food was brought out to me and my first bite told me I hade made a great decision!
The meat to fat ratio of the ribeye was spot on and the meat was really tender so I didn't pull out the whole steak from the bun on the first bite. All in all I say the meal was a success and would recommend this establishment to my friends. Don't let the first impression of the place deter you, you will be surprised.
