Recently stayed at the Windsor Hotel and was looking forward to dining in this elegant restaurant. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. The Holstein Ribeye steak and the Chicken Caprese were perfectly prepared. I couldn't have been more pleased with this experience.

I was a guest at The Windsor Hotel recently and decided to dine in their restaurant. The food was excellent. I had one of the most succulent and tender pieces of prime rib I have ever had, and the accompanying sides were excellent as well. The only reason that I could not give this restaurant an excellent review was that my friend's order was messed up, and it took the staff quite some time to resolve it. His food was also good, but given that the restaurant only had 6 occupied tables when we arrived, the resolution could have been quicker.

Still, the food was superior, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

A bit of a step back in time. Unique room with tile floors, high ceilings, lots of potted palms. Fried green tomatoes were wonderful. Good wine selection. Entrees were good. My grouper had too much heavy sauce on it, but basically flavorful. The salmon looked like a good bet and my guests seemed to love it. Waitstaff was somewhat on the young and inexperienced side, but was fairly attentive. The pub down the hall was supposedly the hot spot for evening fun, but didn't experience it. Looked fun.

You don't find good food most of the time in small towns but you can be assured you will in Americus GA if you stop in here. One could say a lot but keeping it simple I would say you are sitting in one of the most pleasant venues no matter where. You will have good food that is moist and hot instead of dried on the edges from the heat lamp. It well have interesting flavors and have you saying "this is good". The service is like the location i.e. a bit laid back, unpretentious and accommodating whatever your need. Get out of the box and have a good meal in a place that is relaxed and enjoyable.
