sea glass inn is a couple hundred feet away from the sea (water is not swimmable). it seam to be the only place with AC at a reasonable rate located in the village. there where some dogs barking at night but overall it was ok.

Brad is the best. Prior to arriving at Sea Glass Inn I had communicated with him via email and asked him to purchase distilled water for my husband's sleep apnea monitor since you can no longer easily travel with liquids. Brad found what was needed and it was in our room waiting for us. Sea Glass Inn is a great place to stay in Placencia and has the best customer service!

We were in Placencia the last week of September and it was VERY hot (95º) and humid (89%). This has nothing to do with Sea Glass Inn, but if you travel to Placencia in September, be ready to sweat!!

My wife and I met the owners, Brad and Christine, last January while in Placencia and were anxious to stay at the Sea Glass Inn on our return this June. We were in town for three days of Lobster Fest and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this newly renovated inn in the center of it all in Placencia. The rooms are clean and comfy. The water is hot and the AC is cold. Although with the ceiling fan we almost did not even need the AC. The verandas are spacious and inviting with morning coffee, free wi-fi and comfortable furniture and hammocks, you could not ask for anything more. Just a stones throw from the sea this is very quiet location yet very close to all the restaurants and all things happening in Placencia. The Sea Glass is a great value in Placencia and the owners are more than accommodating. They will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. If you need help planning your stay while in Placencia, they have connections with many tour companies and are willing and able to set you up with the best tours and tour companies on the peninsula.

Room Tip: Room # 2 faces the ocean and the veranda and always has a good breeze blowing through it.

This is the CLEANEST, most friendly, family run Guest House I have seen in Belize.
It is tucked away on a well keep quiet beach feeling like you are miles away from everyone yet you are only a couple hundred feet from Placencia Village. The huge veranda with complimentary
coffee is a perfect way to begin your day!

My gut feeling was right on! What a warm welcome my family and I received from Brad, Christine and Adam. What a "little jewel" in parasdise! Very clean, comfortable and close to everything you could want or need for a fun and relaxing vacation. Brad was happy to book tours, Christine always making sure we had what we needed, offering bug spray, sunscreen, coffee, etc...And Adam made a wonderful Italian dinner for us and other guests! Would return in a heartbeat! Oh, and Buddy the pup got a lot of attention from our girls who missed their dogs back home!

Christine, Brad and Adam could not have been more kind or helpful. I knew the morning Christine made me porridge that my daughter had picked a winner! A perfect location for getting to restaurants and coffee shops, and close to dive shops. Lovely verandas, with coffee machine, toaster, etc. Adam's cooking is sublime.

A definite place to visit in Placentia.

My mom and I recently stayed at Sea Glass Inn and would recommend it for anyone staying in Placencia. The family who runs the inn is extremely welcoming and helpful with everything. We are sometimes demanding guests and they recommended restaurants, changed money, called tour operators, gave directions, fed us, constantly unlocked the TV so we could watch tennis, and let us use their clothesline. :)

The rooms are very clean and have AC, little fridges, and comfortable beds. The inn is right near the beach and is a lovely little grassy road's walk to great restaurants and a grocery store.

Thumbs up to this little place!

Bonus: The adorable resident dog, Buddy. :)
