It is located on the south side of the peninsula, so it is away from the noise, crowds, and folks peddling wares …. but it is a GREAT place, right on the water with excellent food and we thought the best breakfast in Placencia. They also have a lunch special and a bar; so don't miss this place even if it is a little off the tourist path -- but in Placencia that's only a 4 minute walk!!

I've frequented The Crow's Nest for their $10 BZ ($5 US) lunches. Yesterday I had 2 king fish steaks, potato salad, rice, stew split peas and a soda. We done by local chef. The pasta and meat sauce every Thursday is a favorite. Other lunch main dishes with sides were curry chicken and snapper. Nice atmosphere under a giant thatch near the beach with great views. I also enjoyed traditional Belizean (mince fish, fry jacks, refried beans) and American style (eggs and toast etc.). Looking forward when I return next year

The food we had at the Crow's Nest was excellent - probably the best conch fritters we have had anywhere. Unfortunately, Ms. Owner was in charge and her idea of service does not seem to include waiting on the customers. If you do go, wait until one of the local staff is on the floor unless you want a long wait. Nice place, very good food, a shame about the service - wouldn't go back.

Had trouble knowing exactly where the restaurant was located. It is poorly lit and there are no signs to even let you know they are there. You can not see the restaurant from the beach or street. The service is descent but they don't have everything listed on the menu. The bar is poorly stocked as well. The music is played too loud. The Wi-fi is sketchy. For the price it is adequate.
