This restaurant was open a few years ago I am so very excited too see it back on the sidewalk with the same menu! The flavors are so rich, even the simplest dishes (I love the hard taco plate!) are amazing! Prices are low and staff is smiley. I visit here often, two days in a row is not uncommon for me! Don't miss it!

The food selection at Pirate's Grill was limited the day we were there because they were getting ready to close for a few days while construction took place on the sidewalk at their location. It is located between the sidewalk and beach. There are a few tables under a thatch roof or have umbrellas for shade. We had chicken bites with fresh cut, seasoned french fries and baja chicken tacos. The portion sizes were very good, the food was delicious and the price was more than right!

Located on the world's longest sidewalk, steps from the beach. Very good food and service. All of the preparation is done in the tiny kitchen, all of the meats and vegetables are fresh and cooked the way you like it.

Pirate Grill (Shane'splace) will definitely keep you coming back for the delicious food both locals and tourists agree. It's located about half way up the Main Street sidewalk - from the main road cut towards the beach at the police station. It's the small yellow and red building. It does take out and has a few tables. You're not coming for the atmosphere but it's clean. Not much for ambiance but the food is a mix of local and world fusion. Be sure to give the curry a try. For value and taste it can't be beat.

Best food in Placencia! Extensive menu is a wonderful surprise for such a small place - we've eaten here three times in the last week alone, and everything has been terrific: fresh and flavourful! The curry dishes are broad-ranging - from Ethiopian curry to Jamaican jerk curry to Indian butter chicken, they're irresistible! However, I did manage to also try the chicken enchiladas, and they were great. Prices are super-reasonable...the only problem is making a choice...it's all good!
