Description: The Pickled Parrot is a thatched roof restaurant and bar mere footsteps from the crashing surf of the Carribean. We have delicious blender drinks, rum concoctions and ice cold Belikin Beer. Our food is home cooked style comfort food, made from fresh organic ingredients. We specialize in hand-cut french fries, burgers, chicken cheesesteaks, and Philly cheesesteaks. Our popular everyday option is a fresh large salad topped with shrimp, chicken breast or ribeye steak. Special diets are easily accomadated. Portions are ample and prices are low. Check out the daily $10 specials on the Pickled Parrot Bar & Grill Facebook !

We love making regular visits here when we are in Placencia. Owners and staff are very friendly and enjoying visiting with Ziggy, their lovely dog! Prices are great and love the daily lunch specials.

“Great hangout”
Reviewed July 16, 2014

We stopped by after dinner and stayed much longer than we expected. Enjoyed talking to the many locals and learning of their journey to move to Belize. Great staff. Tommy was a very attentive bar tender. You must try the Parrott Piss.

“Great food, drinks and live music”
Reviewed July 5, 2014 via mobile

Parrot Piss drink is better than it sounds. Three types of rum and squeeze the poss out of a parrot. Onion rings are to die for. Real cheeseburger in paradise. Best rum punch ever, I mean ever.

“Expat paradise”
Reviewed June 29, 2014

This bar and grill was situated in the middle of Placencia town's Main Street (sidewalk) and the only paved road (which runs parallel to Main Street. A great place to grab a Belikin (stout for me, please!) or a delicious pina colada. The owner sat with us and chatted for about 30 minutes and is quite a character. Good times!

“One word....Awesome!”
Reviewed June 29, 2014

Such a friendly atmosphere. Eugene and Lynn (the owners) make everyone feel welcome and personally introduce themselves and welcome you to their establishment. Tommy and Kareem do an outstanding job behind the bar and are always on top of things...both add a little personality to the experience which makes it that much more fun. I found that some of the locals frequent the place and they offer daily specials like Meatloaf Monday....My favorite was Fish and Chips on Friday which had an awesome batter and is always made using only fresh Lionfish from local waters. They're doing their part to help with this invasive species. Thanks
