Well, what can I say? I guess my wife & I have gone off the deep end. We have a serious problem. It’s not good. We’ve been to Placencia 3 times this past year. And now that we’re back home we’re trying to figure out how to make time for another visit. I strongly recommend that you DON’T visit Placencia. We want it all to ourselves..

However, if you DO visit Placencia, may I strongly recommend Ms. Jacki’s Casa Placencia? We’ve stayed at our sweet Casa Placencia for all 3 of our visits. We love the Casa. It’s just beyond all the hustle & bustle of the village but just a short funky walk on Placencia’s famous sidewalk to the beach or the Barefoot Bar, Dawn’s Grill or the Shak down by the pier. Or you can bike like a local to the village on one of the bikes provided by the Casa. Ms. Jacki has created a unique tiled oasis in the midst of a Carribean beach paradise. Well done Ms. Jacki! We’ve stayed in the one & two bedroom apartment suites. They’ve got everything you need. Comfy beds, fully stocked kitchens, good wi-fi & AC, cable TV. We used the pool to cool off between visits to the village & beach. Ms. Jacki’s able assistants, Blue & Dieton, keep the grounds spic & span & secure & are always available to assist. For the price, we don’t think that you can do better than our Casa Placencia for your stay in Placencia. Maybe we’ll see you there?

Very good stay at colourful Casa Placencia. My Garden Room was small but had everything I needed and the AC was a godsend. Bikes were very good quality making the short ride into town extremely easy. Jacki is a fantastic host and will provide you with everything you need for a comfortable stay including great restaurant recommendations. She also makes a mean pecan scone!

We rented the second floor apt which FAR exceeded our expectations! The unit was impeccably clean, well appointed, and welcoming (on top of that, we thoroughly appreciated the working A/C and wifi!). Jacki couldn't have been more hospitable from providing us with homemade goodies, directing us to restaurants, lining up taxis, sharing her local knowledge, and making our stay comfortable. The complimentary bicycles, assigned to you, were a big asset in exploring Placencia and local grocery runs. One evening we returned home with a flat tire, emailed Jacki, and it was fixed/ready the next morning without missing a beat. We would highly recommend Casa Placencia!

My wife and I stayed in a garden room. Initially we only booked for one night but liked it so much we extended to three. Super comfortable with all the necessities (coffee maker, a.c., comfy bed, pool, fridge, etc) solidly covered. The room and bathroom were both spotless.
The pool was great and we used the free good quality cruiser bikes everyday and the inflatable kayaks once, both such a nice bonus. The brownies were as delicious as advertised.
Jacki was very responsive via email to some initial questions, attentive when we needed it during our stay, and overall just an excellent host.
The only thing I could conceivably complain about was some minor occasional road noise as the hotel is close to the main road.
This place was fantastic and all the 5 star reviews are legit. You will not regret staying here!

We had two nights booked but stayed for three because we liked it so much. Our room was small but cozy and had everything we needed, including AC, a mini fridge, good coffee, a comfy bed, wifi and even cable TV (maybe for a rainy day?). Jackie was so nice and made us feel right at home. There are bikes for each guest and town is a short ride away. There are also free kayaks to use and a beach to launch them from very close by. The beach here (as with most of Belize) isn't great because of garbage and seaweeds but there's a small pool at the hotel that is nice to cool off and hang out in. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend a stay!
