Back at Rumfish on our fourth trip to Belize. John and Pam were wonderful hosts and the food was wonderful. I can highly recommend the Short Rib Lasagna. Wow, what a creation and for dessert, you have to try the Chocolate Habanero Cannoli. John pitched in and helped us find a fishing guide for Tarpon and I caught my first one the next day. Can't wait to get back.

Excellent menu, great infused vodka drinks.

We were the only one`s there for a late lunch. The one waitress on was a bit unattentive, but we were on island-time too, so it was okay.

I had seafood pasta, and my spouse had fish tacos. Both dishes were excellent. We also had the infused vodka drinks. Mine was with jalapenos and mango. If you like spicy drinks, this is your thing!

We ended up just getting a drink and appetizer here as we were not in Placencia very long and wanted to try other local restaurants as well. If we had more time we would have gone back for a full meal, but there were other ones on our list as well. From what we saw though, the main food looked delicious. Our cocktails were delicious and the plantain chips I still crave.

The drinks, ambient music ,main course appetizers and ambience is crazy good. The service is 5 star. Make a reservation. We did Sat eve and we're glad we did. Beef short ribs re. lasagna. Fish tacos. Flatbreads with superb smoked fish spreads. I wanted more but the portions were great. Do not miss Rum Fish. And have the chocolate cannaloni for sure. This was decadent.

Inventive food with Italian touches that coordinate perfectly with the Italian specialties on the wine list. The breezy verandah makes for a lovely dining venue. Owners could not be nicer! Don't settle for "creole" cuisine--eat well instead.
