A good selection of cocktails. The food was good but not exceptional. Friendly service, but the owner seemed to be a bit too tense - somehow it just felt a bit pretentious.

“Delicious”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

Food and cocktails were delicious...save room for dessert at gelato place next door. The owner was super attentive but couldn't tend to everyone...but his staff did their best..was an INCREDIBLE night!

“Outstanding and Interesting Food”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

Dined at Rumfish on two occassions and enjoyed both meals tremendously. It was likley the best "fine dining" experience in Placencia- well prepared, fresh and local ingredrients. Throughly enjoyed their appetizer specials - the ceviche in particular. Entrees were all very good. Our dining party enjoyed the fresh fish tacos, pork belley tacos, fresh snapper and the pasta. All meals had good proportions and were considently prepared. Of particualr note- thier cockatil!. They use fresh infusions as a base for their drink specials. I partiuclary enjoyed their jalepeno-orange margarita- spicy but good! Prices are at the top end of what you would expect in Placencia, however the ambiance and experience make this a special place. Highly recommended!

“Top Notch Specialized Menu”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

The specialized menu makes this place great, but also limits its potential. Great managment and staff. Great food. We really enjoyed everthing we consumed at this place. And though you are not on the beach, the view from this open second floor gastropub is scenic enough and makes for a nice backdrop for an outstanding meal.
