“An escape to adventure and paradise all in one”

Ka'ana is a truly wonderful place. If you are looking for a way to have adventure (at any pace from the simple to the daring) and exploration while operating from the most luxurious and relaxing base camp Ka'ana is it! The resort is small but the service is not. Every member of the staff knows your name, says hello, and is at the ready to make your stay enjoyable. We literally had the place to ourselves and while I am sure it is not always so quiet, I can assure anyone that this staff will make it always feel that way.

Room Tip: We stayed in a Casita which was wonderful. Lots of space and both a front and back porch. We toure...

My Boyfriend and i spent 4 nights at Ka'ana last week and enjoyed every minute of it!
The place is beautiful and very well taken care of, someone did a wonderful job at designing and decorating the place to be very welcoming and clean and comfortable, yet give you somewhat a feel of the indigenous place. It is very quite, private, intimate and the service is 100% awesome!
Onil - the concierge did everything in his power to make our stay in the Cayo district of Belize the best ever! everyone in the staff though - from front desk, cleaning or restaurant staff were absolutely sweet and helpful and made us feel at home.
We would recommend this place to our friends any time! if you are looking for a place to stay in Belize main land - this is the place to go - look no further!

We spent 12 days in Belize and traveled from Ambergris Caye, to San Ignacio and finally Placencia. Our stay in San Ignacio was a ton of fun and even better thanks to Ka'ana. Upon arrival at Ka'ana, Onil informed us about our room upgrade and brought us to the most amazing room that we have ever seen with our own personal plunge pool and courtyard! Our stay only got better from there. We were brought into the wine cellar (and offered a glass, or two, or three! of Belize's Craboo liquor) for an orientation and to discuss the tours that we were interested in. We didn’t have to lift a finger to schedule anything - Onil even took down our breakfast order for room service on an early morning tour day. The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. The food is amazing - one of my favorite things was the night treats delivered to your room each night! The grounds are beautiful - luxurious without taking away the feel of nature. The tours that they set-up were the best with personal tour guides and massages at the spa after the cave tour was just what we needed. The town of San Ignacio is only a few minutes away and Ka'ana provides vans to take you back and forth. I would recommend Ka'ana to anyone and everyone wanting an amazingly beautiful vacation that can be both action packed and relaxing.

Room Tip: The Villa!

We stayed at the Ka'ana for three nights and had a terrific stay. The property and rooms are very nice and the staff is outstanding. The restaurant is expensive, but the vegetables are grown on the property and the food is very good overall. The resort is remote, which offers a serene setting, but also close to a number of good activity options.

We stayed at Ka'ana for 4 nights and loved every bit of it. This was our first trip that lasted more than 2 nights in over 4 years and we wanted to be able to find a place which we felt had many of the comforts you are used to in the states but with surroundings and experiences we would not have in the states. Being that we are from Florida we were instantly interested in the rainforest vs the beaches and Ka'ana caught our attention because of its reviews, resort images and surrounding excursions.
We could not have been happier with our choice! The resort itself was beautiful and the staff members always extremely friendly and helpful. The excursions are amazing and a must do if possible is the ATM. A friend recommend I invest in a rash guard for added comfort during any cave excursions and I was very pleased that I did.
Because we did not get around to booking our trip until about 2 weeks previous, the only availability left was the villa. In hindsight it only made our experience that much better...if you do book one of the villas, I highly recommend you request Richard as your personal concierge (he even showed us around San Ignacio one of our days on the trip).
The food in the restaurant is delicious but I would also recommend you leave one or two days to eat at local restaurants (the hotel has drivers that will drop you off in town and the restaurants will call the driver up to pick you up once you are ready to head back...very convenient).
Overall we would highly recommend a trip to Ka'ana and are very happy with our choice.

Small, personal, highly attentive staff - everything about this oasis will make you feel pampered. From Onil at the head of concierge services setting you up with private tours to Oscar helping you make your own signature drink this is an amazingly well run resort hotel. Select where you want every meal: on your private patio, poolside, by the private fire pit, or just the lovely restaurant patio. Immaculate pool area with shower, a different sweet in your casita each night and lovely people gardening who really care and take the time to show off their organic garden. I recommend this place without and caveats. Just Go!

Room Tip: Casitas are lovely numbers 9 & 10 are most secluded but not as picturesque landscaping to look a...

My friend and I just returned from Belize. We stayed 4 nights at Ka'ana. The staff was amazing. Every single person we encountered was so welcoming, hospitable, helpful in every way. We got to know them by name and truly enjoyed our stay. The service was outstanding. Our last day by the pool was very hot and out of nowhere, Ricardo, comes bearing an ice cold pitcher of orange/lime water and a platter of ice cold fruit. It's the little things like that that make a huge difference. Joanna, Juliette, Carla, Onil, Oscar, Ricardo, Jimmy (I hope I'm not forgetting anyone) - they were all so wonderful and friendly and really made our stay that much more enjoyable. The rooms are beautiful with front and back porch/loungers. We took the ATM tour offered by the hotel and it was amazing. Our guide, Patrick, was so knowledgeable and fun as well... a very professional and enjoyable tour. We were in the cave before any other tours/people arrive so had it all to ourselves. It was worth the extra money for this reason and because of the one on one service/attention.

My only criticisms are that the showers have very low pressure and the menu could be a little more varied or change a bit from day to day. We did go into town for dinner one night and though there were no vans available into town we called when we were ready to return and Onil, himself, came to pick us up free of charge.

Room Tip: We were in room 4, heard no traffic like some other reviewers - was very peaceful and quiet. We tou...
