We stayed at Martha's for 4 nights early in January 2013. We loved our room on the second floor with it's little private balcony. We ate most of our meals at the restaurant and were completely satisfied with everything.

This is the first meal we ate after our flight into Belize. We also stayed a night in the hotel. I had the fish and chips which were quite good with pickled onions and side of fries. I don't like fries, but these were pretty good! Also had the nachos to start which could have fed an army. BF had the Mayan pizza. I'm not sure what was so Mayan about it, but it was topped with fresh veggies and a local sausage... and it was good! Came back for breakfast and had eggs with veggies and sausage along with fry jack (yay fry jacks!!!!). Service was smiley and accommodating!

The people at Martha's Guesthouse were wonderful to deal and very helpful. I liked their location and the restaurant was very good as well. Everything I needed was nearby and that was huge, being in the center of town, it made it so easy and convenient for me to walk to different locations.

Wandering around town, we saw a big crowd dining outside at Martha's. That always seems to be a sign of good things so the next night we had dinner there. We shared a tamale and had the burritos. They were extremely fresh and full of vegetables. The price was very inexpensive and the food was just what we want on vacation - freshly made and local.

Most restaurants are closed on Sunday nights, so we ended up at Martha's. Service was fine, food was decent to good, milkshakes were fabulous! Our kids had pizza - a thicker crust than at home, but still good.
