Chavez was our guide from San Ignacio Resort. VERY knowlegeable I have always been fascinated by the ruins. Chavez took his time to show us around & explain everything. Thank you!Since this was my first trip in 15 years I really was over due to get far far away. Would I do this again YES without a doubt!!

The site is an excellent place to go and have fun. I liked the history that these temples have hidden for many years now. It was fun discovering what the people in the past were able to do and build.

It's a conveniently located ancient ruin. And for only $5 USD. You'll only need about 60 minutes, but it's not at all touristy. It's a pretty interesting, but small, site.

It's a bit of a hike to get here.

You honestly would not be able to tell that this was here from the front. But if you are in San Ignacio, this little spot is a must. The ruins are in various states of repair. But there is enough to see and really appreciate. It cost $5 US for admission. It's self guided. You only need about 60-90 minutes for this spot.

This mayan ruin is close to town and some of the buildings have been recently found and available to the public. On the day that we were there, only 3 others were there too so we had the place to ourselves. It is much cooler here than the other local mayan ruin, Xunantunich which can be just too hot to go to in the afternoons.
Well worth the hour or so it will take to see this site and as it is so close to town it is hard not to miss this.
