I'm not a fan of iquanas, but I held two adults and one baby one while I visited! The Iguana Conservation Project was reasonably priced and very close to downtown San Ignacio.

The guide was funny, educative, and dealt very well with my nervousness! Super cool experience while in Belize

This is a very basic screened enclosure that houses rescued and young iguanas that is run on a shoestring budget. The workers are wonderful and well informed. It is a delight, but a very basic.

Learned so much about Iguanas and tried holding one for the first time and fell in love ! Truly beautiful creatures! Watch out for Oscar in mating season

This was a fun little tour where we got to hold, feed, and take lots of pictures with full grown and baby iguanas. Definitely worth it!
