“Good Food/Good Bar”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

Eva's provides indoor or outdoor seating in a very rustic venue. The food is good, and the Bar is even better (they have my Scotch (Dewar's)). Off the beaten path, it never seems crowded, but always sports an eclectic clientele that makes any evening memorable.

“Guermo the Great!”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

Guermo makes this place....fabulous waiter, conversationalist and service. Desserts amazing and huge. Dinners, especially fish, tasty with man sized servings. Restaurant is found just behind popular Burns St, around corner from Martha's guesthouse. Anyone complaining about atmosphere has brought his home expectations to Belize. Erva's is on a quiet street, away from loud music and crowds of other bars and local hang outs.

“Hard to find, but decent food.”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

Once you find Erva's, and you take a look at the building, you may hesitate to go in as the atmosphere isn't the greatest, but once inside the food is good. The evening I was there, it seemed as though it was a 'one man does all' operation ... cook, waiter, etc. Service was slow, but considering there was only one person working, understandable. The food was fine, the price a bit more than in comparable restaurants in town. The restroom is not all that appealing, and one lady seemed to purposely avoid it.

“Can't go wrong!”

Creole Fish and Bananas Flambe -- it was super laid back and really tasty -- the prices are a little higher than other places but fine by US standards.

“Home Made”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

Another hidden gem.
Erva's is off the beaten path but worth hunting high and low for.
The food is simply amazing!
I went there for dinner and then back again for breakfast and I would've like to have gone again, except we had to move on to the next town.
The food takes a while to get, because they start making it from scratch once you order it.
The service is good. Order a beer cuz the drinks are a little weak.
I'm salivating just thinking about the food.
Make it a point to find this place, even if you get lost.
There was a dish with a green vegetable that I've never heard of before that was so outstanding, I wish I remembered what it was called. Anyhow, we had appetizers, drinks, dinner, breakfast and fresh squeezed orange juice.
