I did an ATM caves tour with Oscar from PacZ and loved it. The other tour companies had groups of 8-10 and we were a small group of 3, which allowed us to learn more. We even went deeper than other groups into the caves. Oscar was great about making sure we were comfortable, and also very knowledgeable about the Mayan culture and history. He was one of the best guides I’ve ever had for a guided tour!

We booked a "private" day-trip tour to the Tikal Mayan ruins that exceeded our expectations. The other two people who were supposed to join us cancelled their reservation, so it was just two of us plus our guide and the driver. Our guide, Hugo, is a dual citizen, so he was with us the entire day. This was important to us because, as two single female traverlers, we felt safe with him and were a bit nervous about other tours where the guides were replaced by locals when crossing the border.

Hugo was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Mayan culture and the ruins in addition to the landmarks along the way. On the way back, we stopped for lunch at a great little restaurant that was owned by a friend of Hugo's and were served refreshing agua frescas and the most amazing beans and guacamole!

Booked an all-day guided tour of ATM/Cyrstal Cave. A once in a lifetime experience and a not to miss adventure in Belize. Our tour guide Oscar did an excellent job explaining the history behind the cave and all the Mayan rituals.
