Just returned from 3 nights at Sleeping Giant and I don't have a bad word to speak of the resort. From the moment we arrived the attention and care received from the staff was incredible! Ice cold Soursop juice and a tour around the resort from Rose upon our arrival-- then the adventure began! Loretta, Orlin and our main man, Abner Swift, treated us so kindly and felt like immediate friends. While everyone was great, Abner really went above and beyond! He was so knowledgeable and just a COMPLETE JOY! We stayed in a garden view room and it was perfect for two (just my boyfriend and I). Always clean and tidy, and you couldn't beat coming home to a nice cool room. The grounds are SPECTACULAR! Really, I've never seen anything like it. The STEEP 380 ft. hike to the pavilion kicked my butt but was so worth it. Truly incredible views. And along the way Abner was teaching us so much about the plants, trees, birds and history of the area. With so much to do just around the resort we only booked one tour (cave tubing & zip line) and spent the second day exploring the property. It was perfect!
I'm already missing our friends & time there! Thank you, Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge!!!More
