Easy short drive off the Caracol road. Make sure to go to end of road carpark - that is where the big diameter cave is. One minute walk to large entrance where stream exits cave. Walk in a ways to see thru to other entrance 300 yards away. Very cool! More like a large natural bridge. There is a small sandy beach by the stream inside cave. Take a dip.

Very cool looking large cave with a river that takes about 20 minutes or so to explore and is best done while waiting for entry to Caracol.

This is a very small cave, but an interesting stop on the way to Caracol. It gave us a chance to stop and stretch our legs. The cavern is open and accessible for a walk.

It seemed good to stretch your legs and get out of the van from the tortuous trip to Caracol. Oh, the cave is interesting to explore as well. It is more like a very large tunnel than an actual cave. Our guide explained the relation this cave had to the Mayan people so it tied into our trip to Caracol.
