We stopped at Rio on Pools on the way back from Caracol. It was a rather warm day, and the pools were quite refreshing. It was not crowded at all. In fact, there was only one other family there at the same time as us. As others have noted, it was rather slippery! Might be a good idea to bring some water shoes with you (I left mine at the hotel!). But we had fun slipping around! Since we were there during the wet season, the water levels were a bit higher than they are during the dry season, and the water was a little less clear. It is still beautiful, though, even if you don't spend much time in the water! If you're in the area, it is definitely worth a stop!
