Terrible service- the bartender handed me a menu when I sat down, and then just turned around with her back to me and ignored me for a while (the place was nearly empty, so not busy at all, and there were 3 ppl working). Eventually I asked about happy hour, and was told it’s literally only one day per week. I then had the pulled pork sandwich, which was mediocre, and was served on a hot dog bun. Also, the place smelled really funky- like moldy or something. And they must have changed their menu since the other pics posted on here- many of the options are no longer available.

Great view though.

We ordered the Jerk Chicken Pizza, Belizean Sunday Special, and the Turkey Sandwich. All three were dry, and barely edible. The sandwich nauseated a member of our party. I cannot fathom why this is rated so highly. This was the worst restaurant we went to on our two week stay in Belize. The service was slow and they ignored any TV requests. Find anywhere else, this is not worth your time or money.

This casual restaurant was located above the pool deck facing the sea at Radisson.

They have a pub-style menu with great seafood options that tasted as fresh as if they were caught an hour before appearing on our plates! We didn’t once have a bad experience in the 4 times we had lunch and dinner here.

We stayed just across the road at The Great House Inn.
Given the general warnings of safety in the city and advice to avoid wandering the streets looking for places to eat, especially after dark, we decided to have all our meals at the Radisson.

We were very impressed with the quality of the food. Service was average; some of the staff (like Edita) were super-attentive, while others took long to check on us with drink refills or to advise on our order delays.

My husband ordered fish and chips for his first meal and loved it so much that he ordered it twice thereafter! He said it could rival any fish & chips in a top English pub!

Overall, we had good experiences here. Whilst there was the more formal St. George’s restaurant next door where dinner is served, we did not patronise them as they were closed for a special group function. Although there was the offer that we could order anything from their menu and have it brought over to us in Baymen’s Tavern, we decided to stick with the Baymen’s menu.

We preferred it anyway having a relaxed atmosphere without a strict dress code where you could dine in Bermuda shorts and a tee without the need to dress up.

Thank you for that wonderful review! We are honored to have had you as our guests at Baymen's Tavern, and more than once :) That great rating of being up there with the top English pubs has us over the moon! We're happy to have met your expectations and that you enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere facing the Caribbean Sea. Thank you also for mentioning Edita, she'll be pleased to know that you remembered her by name and you've given me the opportunity to congratulate her for a job well done. We hope to see you again on your next travel to Belize!

Plentiful well cooked food, served by friendly attentive staff, washed down with a draft Belikan! Best place to eat lunch or dinner at the Radisson.

We came here for dinner and had chicken tacos and a chicken panini. Both were pretty good but cold
and mojitos were excellent.

We chose this place because it was close to our hotel. The service was slow because they’re grossly under staffed. An extra person would made a huge difference.
