Just do it. It's the only place in the world where you can Cave Tube. They give you a headlight, and there are beautiful holes where the sunlight streams in

Cave tubing in Belize is one of the major attractions and I can see why! You're provided with a helmet, life jacket and tube and trek through the rainforest/jungle on your way to the river. The trek was beautiful....lots of natural flora and fauna and the guides kept us entertained with information. Once we got to the river the ride was similar to a "lazy river" and very relaxing. Don't go to Belize without cave tubing!

I really enjoyed Nickoli's commentary hiking through the jungle.
He taught showed and taught us about the healing properties of many of the native plants, trees and herbs.
We enjoyed his personal care and attention on the tubing tour through the secret, dark and cool cave.

Our Guide Rony was excellent. We'd put our big yellow tubes on the ground each time he stopped to point out and sample a medicinal trees or shrub along the way. We chewed on Allspice, took glue from the HorseBalls, and touched spines on trees that appeared prehistoric. An hour later we swam in the cenote before floating through the caves with our headlamps. He pointed out the magnificent formations, crystalline patches that glowed and brought us to the waterfall.

We met a popular Belize popstar, Melonie Gilett, who was trying to film a music video as we floated by. We found her CD at the airport on our departure and her song "I love Belilze" will be the background to the slideshow we've put together from out trip.

I suggest this tour to everyone, young and old. :)

This was a really great time. We had a fair guide. Traveling with two over 70 year olds, we had to walk about 2 miles with our tubes which took longer than we should have. Our guide was patient with the walk but when we got to the caves, he went through so fast to make up the time. The walk is totally worth it, but it is expensive like everything else in Belize.
