Owner description: This fantastic excursion showcases this marvelous Tropical location, Goff's Caye! The Atoll features 2 acres of Tropical Paradise where you will find beautiful, natural white sand and one of the very few pristine beaches found in the entire Country of Belize. Goff's Caye is not a man-made beach, it is a natural wonder!

“use caution with island marketing”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2012

Our group of 12 was sched to do this tour . While waiting in carnival legend showroom for tender tickets, CCL announced that the sea was quite rough, and that only "strong swimmers" shud snorkel, and offered free cancellation (on ship's tour).
We all rode the tender(very rough) to Belize city. Cosulting with the mothers, we decided to cancel, as we had 4 preteens and 4 ladies. Proceeded to inform the tour operator.(as othrs on the tender told us we would be" nuts" to endanger the safety of the children.
Tour operator told us that our was going on anyway, and that we would have trouble getting our deposit back from Island marketing.
To date they have refused to return my 20% deposit , and I am pursueing w/ Chase credit card.

We are glad we did not add another $400 orf good money after bad--others on the ship did go, and had a very bad time.

My advise --skip Island Marketing , and book the tour on the Belize City dock, avoiding this whole deposit business.

We loved this excursion. Lots of fish to see snorkeling, good food, and great staff. Small island but very memorable. You can't go wrong with this excursion!

“Amazing place!!!”

If you are in Belize you have to go to Goff's Caye! This small island is paradise. This was one of the best tours I've done. Beautiful crystal clear water & soft clean sand surrounds this small piece of heaven. While there you get to snorkel around the island and afterwards you can just relax on the beach drinking some jungle juice. They have a man selling BBQ chicken & lobster tail with rice & beans. They also have a lady selling jewelry she's made. This is the kind of place you see in postcards..coconut trees and all!

We took a speed boat to a small island called Goffe Cay (only 1.4 acres) along the way we saw 5 or 6 bottle nosed dolphins which was very cool. After arriving on the island people used the restroom and got situated and we went through a snorkeling instruction on the dock then headed out about 5 minutes over a reef. The reef was absolutely gorgeous!!! So much wild life! We saw a sea turtle (approx 40 yo), barracuda, and many colorful fish and corals (if you do dive down make to ask about the fire coral. it feels like fiber glass in your skin and it does get itchy and burn). The currents where quite strong that day so i recommend moderate to strong swimmers. AWESOME EXCURSION FOR FREE DIVING! A girl even found a starfish the size of a large dinner plate. Once we got back to the island they already had food on the grill and women selling jewelry under the shack. They were serving, kabobs (very good), lobster tails, and other stuff available like chips and cookies. You then had the next couple hours to do as you like. Many people just layed out with their spouses and children swam. The water was so beautiful. Although the island was small it wasn't crowded at all. Because I am underaged I did not drink but the complimentary "rum punch" was a favorite by many and many people got quite into it. Overall it was perfect. The people were SOO nice and humorous, the reef was gorgeous, the island was a ball, the food was good, and it wasn't too long or too short. Just remember to bring an underwater camera you'll be sad you didn't! ALSO: we book our cruise through Orbitz and got 100$ credit for excursions which we used for my mom and I!! So check that out too we got this trip for free!

“Island Marketing LTD is AWESOME!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2012

We booked our excursion through Island Marketing and I was a little nervous. We have always booked through the cruise line which was always so expensive. I will probably never book another excursion through the cruise line again.

Our excusion was AWESOME! The weather was cloudy when we first arrived but by the time we got over to Goff's Caye the sun came out and the weather was perfect. On the boat ride over we were told all about the Island. The entire staff was super friendly and knowledgable.

The Goff's Caye Island was BEAUTIFUL! Very small little Island that was just perfect!

Leon was an excellent guide and even took several of us out snorkeling from the shore. My 9 year old daughter got nervous after swimming and he carried her back in and really took care of her. She said he was her hero.

Had the best time and would so do it over and over again!

Thanks for the awesome excursion!
