Me and my 2 friends decided to do Cave Tubing in Belize. We had no idea what we were in for! it was FANTASTIC. We booked our jungle tour and cave tubing experience at our hotel - the raddison and managed to get a discount on the price as we had our own car and drove to them instead of them coming to pick us up. Because of this, we also didn't have to arrive there too early and got a bit of a sleep in.

We did the Jungle tour with the guide named "DECO" from the "Butt's up" cave tubing company. This guide is one of the best ones I've ever had. His accent mixed up with his jokes will have you laughing your head off.

He basically took us around the jungle on a walking tour explaining all the different plants and trees in the jungle. We were amazed at how many natural remedies this guide can give you. everything from Viagra plants to detoxification.

Upon getting through the jungle, we arrived to the most beautify opening of a cave. What you see in the picture above is amazing in real life. With some other cave tubing operators, they'll make you carry down the rubber tube. We didn't have to which was a good thing.

Deco then hooked our round rubber tubes together and we just lay back on them and enjoyed the ride whilst deco pulled us through the water (by swimming) and gave us a verbal tour of the caves.

Do not leave Belize without doing this activity. Also, take a water proof camera. We left our camera's behind afraid of getting our camera's wet. We did regret this a bit as the scenery was to die for.

Lucky for us, we met another couple on the cruise who had already done the research on this cave tubing bit & invited us to come with them. I'm so glad we joined them. Great bang for your buck. Comfortable busses.
I recommend wearing comfortable shoes with thick soles as the trek through the national park is on a gravel/rock-laid trail Big rocks, little rocks... Rocks on which if you step wrong, hurt. Your feet will get wet at the beginning of the hike (passing through a creek) and when you actually go cave tubing, so make arrangements for that.... The hike itself didn't bother me any. I actually appreciated the little bit of exercise. The cave tubing itself was relaxing. Due to the echo in the caves, it was a little difficult to hear the tour guide if you were in the back of the tethered tubes. Nobody's fault really.
The tamales at the end? Awesome. I don't even like tamales, and these were delicious. I'd definitely recommend this excursion to my friends if they were going to Belize...
The tour guides were awesome. Upbeat. Friendly.

As they say in Belize No Worries. We did the cave tubing and zipline on a recent cruise. Call reserve a spot they are waiting on you when you get to shore. The cruise line will charge you double for the same tour. It was the highlight of our seven day cruise. Ask for Speedo and his team. They will explain the Belize culture on your trip to the jungle. You feel safe and relaxed! Belize is a beautiful country and the folks at Cave Tubing.com will show you how its done. Book today and you will never forget your experience!!!!

Anyone who travels to Belize should spend the money and time to go cave tubing with this company. Before we left for our cruise, I researched private companies via the web and this company was by far the best based on customer comments. The entire time we felt safe and comfortable with this group. Everyone on the cavetubing.com staff was outstanding. First, you get a lot of information from your tour guide (we had Speedo) during the bus ride to the cave tubing site. Second, the guides carry your tubes for you to the starting point. Believe me when I say that alone is a tremendous feat. The caves are approx. a 35 minute walk from the unloading area for vehicles. The tubes weigh about 30+ pounds each. Besides being a long walk, the this trip is over varying terrain and is very tiring on its own, let alone if you are carrying a 30 lb. tube. Most cave tour companies have you carry your tubes or "hire" a local boy to carry it for you at a tip rate. The cave tubing staff makes it much easier to enjoy the trip. Once at the caves, our guide Cortez attached himself to our tubes and actually swam during the tour all the while pointing out things in the caves. He was awesome and showed his passion for his work. We loved the entire adventure. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the trip with this company was half of the cost of the cruise ship price. Additionally, the Carnival Cruise line doesn't even use local Belize companies but rather uses a Jamaican company. Does that make sense to American travelers? Who knows better about Belize than outside Jamaicans right? Furthermore, Carnival added a rappelling site above one of the tuning caves. This seems very dangerous for cave tubers since people or equipment that might fall from their site could injure folks doing the cave tubing. Finally, after cave tubing you get an added bonus of a hot snack and drinks. The food was excellent and hit the spot after a wonderful ride of cave tubing. All in all, the trip was by far a great value and an unforgettable experience. Thanks to our cave tubing team. Use this service if you want the very best!

We booked this through their website. We were hoping the reviews were true since we didn't want to pay double on the cruise ship and we were NOT disappointed! We are a 55+ couple and I was afraid it would be too much for me but I loved this. I had never ridden an ATV before but the guys had it fixed so anyone could drive. The rainforest had a lot of large puddles and we got muddy so go prepared. The cave tubing was amazing. We had to walk to the caves but the guys carried the tubes for all of the ladies. We stopped along the way and learned about the types of trees and plants. They had authentic chicken burritos (free) for us and we purchased a soda ($1). As we were bused from place to place we tried cashew wine and learned a lot about the area. They had us back to our port in plenty of time. These people work hard for their money!
