The house was great. Situated just out of the busy part of the island so we had nice peaceful nights when we wanted them. Great views from the walk around balconies. The wood work in the house is very nice. There are tons of glass doors that you can open and get fresh air in the evenings. The air conditioners worked excellent, plenty of hot water for the shower. There was tons of kitchen utensils if you wish to cook but we pretty much just ate $12.50 USD lobster dinner every night. The owners were great and put up with our tequila parties on the balcony lol. I would highly recommend this place to stay on caye caulker. Make sure to find the little kitchen restaurant while you're there. It's a tiny hole in the wall place but every dinner we had there was fantastic and cheap. You can skip rose's restaurant. They claimed to have the best seafood on the island so we had it as our first meal and not only was it mediocre but almost twice the price as the other places.
Seek out the banana bread vendor on the bicycle. It's fantastic and usually hot out of the oven when you find him
We loved staying at the Reef House. The location is only a 5 minute bike ride which we liked because we didn't want to be in town. The owners were easy to communicate with and the manager, Michael, was right across the street and was very gracious and helpful. Of all the houses we saw, we liked The Reef House the best!!! Super house.
