We stayed at OASI on Caye Caulker, Belize for 3 nights in late Dec. 2012. The owner, Luciana, had given us perfect directions of how to catch the ferry from Belize City to Caye Caulker, however, we caught an earlier ferry, and as we were arriving at OASI, there was Luciana sending out a golf-cart taxi to meet us at the ferry dock! She was so welcoming, the room was spacious, clean and decorated, and everything one could need Luciana had thought of. Our room had a queen bed, TV, closet, safe, full kitchen, 5-gallon water cooler and a hammock on the lanai. Her staff is so friendly! She gave us a good map of the island and showed us places for breakfast and dinner, and recommended a great snorkeling "experience". All I have to say about the latter is DO NOT miss Juni The Fish Whisperer! Luciana was always available, always ready to help, and eager to know how you spent your day. We had access to two coaster bikes and used them constantly and they were absolutely perfect for getting around Caye Caulker, and so much fun, too! Places I would recommend include the juice place (near Juni's), Rose's Bar and Grill, and Glenda's (for breakfast). Our flight out was in the evening and Luciana stored our bags and let us use the bikes after check-out and arranged our taxi to get us to the ferry dock. Her taxi driver arranged a taxi from the ferry dock in Belize City to the airport.
